Clip-ons

I finished my commissioned watercolour painting, titled “Clip-ons II”.

Clip-ons II (clip-on earrings are probably antiques now!)

I was commissioned to paint this watercolour painting after the person saw my larger Clip-ons painting with a blue background.

“Clip-ons” original is for sale at Tiger ina Papera Unique Woodcraft Salamanca Gallery, Salamanca Place, Tasmania https://www.facebook.com/TigerInaPaperaUniqueWoodcraftsalamancagallery/

She wanted an A-4 sized painting of my Yellow-tailed black cockatoo adorned by Christmas Island crabs, on a white background.

Starting the painting after the drawing process, which took longer than anticipated. I had to erase a lot of it because I wasn’t happy with the composition.
Starting to come to life, especially with the all-important eye more in focus.
Cip-ons II picked up from the framers. I hope she loves it.

I hope your week is travelling along well.

Cheers, Patricia (PJ)
