Relaxing

This is one of my favourites. For Day 26 of the #Inktober2023 Challenge, the prompt word is “remove”.

Ahhhh, the feeling you get when you remove a pair of uncomfortable high heels.

Ahhhh, the wonderful feeling of resting sore feet.

Notice the strap indentations these shoes have made in this poor emu’s feet! Hopefully, her feet will plump back into their normal state soon.

Ah-ya-ya, those shoe strap indentations look intense.
The artline pen drawing. While painting it, I decided the floor needed something, hence the mat was added.

I hope you have some time to put your feet up this week.

Shallow

Hello,

I hope that all is well.

Day 24’s prompt word for the #Inktober2023 Challenge is “shallow”.

I think that these emus are going to have to wait for the tide to come in.

Scratchy

#Inktober2023 ‘s prompt word for Day 22 is “#scratchy”. Wearing a glamorous, woollen, turtle-necked dress, and stockings, in hot Australia, can leave you feeling scratchy, hot and irritable… Sometimes fashion is overrated.

I’m going to have fun painting this one!

Wishing you a fun day too.

Warmest regards, from PJ Paintings

Bin Chicken

So…., you’re the one giving us a bad name.

The Australian white ibis, due to its increasing presence in urban settings and its past-time of rummaging in rubbish bins with its long, curved beak, has acquired the “bin chicken” or “tip turkey” nicknames. It is becoming an icon of Australia’s popular culture despite that some of the population view them as a pest and aren’t too enamoured with their new-found hobby.

The Australian white ibis is a native Australian bird.

Day 16 Inktober Challenge – prompt word: fowl
